PLAYGROUND

The Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art in NYC have bought a couple for their permanent collection. Where's yours?
Playground is a new bi-annual magazine in the form of limited-edition loose leaf prints. The first issue, which features handmade works by artists Terence Koh and Stuart Semple, alongside spreads that include designs by the likes of Thom Browne, Lanvin, Surface to Air and Alexander Wang, among others. In the Playground world even the box is a work of art; the dripping white surface is a collaboration with designer Dror Benshetrit.
Limited to an edition of 250, Playground will be distributed only in a select few stores in major cities but is available for $600 by contacting gallery Anna Kustera (where it's also on view as part of the group show "The Black Market" through 3 August 2007).
